La Concepción wines derive from La Concepción Valley, which is also home to our delicious Rujero Singani. Sitting at over 6,000 feet (6127 to be exact), of altitude, the vines are exposed to high levels of solar radiation that intensify the character of the grapes to create strong fruit flavors balanced with fresh acidity
Sauvignon Blanc is a classic grape varietal enjoyed around the world. In Tarija, this grape finds an elegant balance between ripe fruit, green grass, and subtle floral tones. This wine is extremely food friendly and intensely enjoyable.
Syrah is a grape grown world wide because it clearly reflects the climate and soil where it is grown. Grown at over 6,000 feet elevation, these grapes soak up the warm sun but get to rest during the cool evenings. This creates a wine with ripe red fruits, smooth tannins, and a crisp acidic backbone. Delicious on its own, but even better with grilled
foods and creamy cheeses.
This blend takes the best of three classic grapes to create a well balanced and enjoyable red blend. Cabernet brings structure, Syrah contributes smoke and pepper, and Merlot adds its round body and plush fruit. Enjoy this wine on its own or with grilled meats, balsamic vegetables, or young creamy cheeses.
At high elevation, this classic grape finds a new expression. Lots of rich red fruits, light touches of black pepper, and mild green notes are all balanced with smooth tannins and balanced acidity. This cabernet can stand up to a variety of rich dishes, firm cheeses, and cured meats.
